Murder accused, Bafana Mahungela, has filed an application for bail based on new evidence on the 1st of August. The Varsity College student was previously denied bail by the Alexandra Magistrates' Court in December. Driver who caused Carletonville horror crash out on bail

The driver of the bakkie that rammed into a Carletonville scholar transport, causing it to overturn and catch fire, killing 11 learners and their driver, has been released on R20 000 bail.
