Meghan Markel’s supporters defend her amid criticism over cooking show

Some social media users have come out in defense of Meghan Markel following the backlash she’s been receiving following the announcement of her upcoming Netflix series.

The star-studded series called – With Love, Meghan – is a lifestyle show that’s set to premiere next Wednesday and will showcase the Duchess of Sussex’s cooking skill.

The first trailer of the series has caused quite a stir.

 

Meghan McCain, who is the oldest daughter of former US senator John McCain, has described it as tone deaf to the issues facing America at the moment.

One social media user has, however, posted a video with a strong message for McCain.

Others have slammed the 40-year-old, saying she is trying to make herself relevant by talking badly about Markel.

Some have linked the outrage against the 43-year-old to the perceived racial harassment that many have over the years been saying she and her husband have always been subjected to.

Back in 2016, the harassment became so vile that Prince Harry penned a statement in defense of Markle and called out the alleged racism she has been subjected to not only on social media but also from the British media.
