Chiefs cut ties with Kaze, Khalil

Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed the departure of co-coaches, Cedric Kaze and Khalil Ben Youssef, following the expiration of their contracts at the end of the season.

The duo joined the club as part of Nasreddine Nabi’s technical team before the Tunisian mentor was dismissed midway through the 2025/26 campaign.

Kaze and Ben Youssef then took charge of the team on an interim basis until the conclusion of the season.

Amakhosi endured another disappointing campaign, ending the season without silverware and finishing third in the Betway Premiership standings behind champions Orlando Pirates and newly crowned African champions Mamelodi Sundowns.

The Glamour Boys have, however, qualified for next season’s CAF Confederations Cup.
