Kaizer Chiefs have parted ways with head coach, Nasreddine Nabi.

Nabi has not been on the Chiefs bench for several weeks since he was asked to step aside from club activities last month before their Champions League first preliminary trip to Angolan Girabola side Kabuscorp SCP.

“Kaizer Chiefs and head coach Nasreddine Nabi confirm that after constructive engagements they have mutually agreed to conclude their professional relationship on an amicable basis,” Chiefs said in a statement on Friday.

The club went on to announce that Nabi’s assistants, Khalil Ben Youssef and Cedric Kaze, will take charge of the team for the remainder of the 2025/26 season.

Chiefs currently sit in fifth place on the Betway Premiership after 8 matches with just 15 points.

The Glamour Boys next assignment will be in Tanzania on the 18th of October against Simba SC in the CAF Confederation Cup Second Preliminary Round 1st leg.

There have been mixed reactions on social media following the announcement.
