The Bulls have confirmed the signing of Springbok flyhalf, Curwin Bosch, on a three-year deal ahead of the new season.
The 27-year-old, who earned two caps for South Africa in 2017 and 2018, will arrive in Pretoria in July following a two-season stint with French Pro D2 club CA Brive. He previously played for the Sharks between 2016 and 2023.
Bosch headlines a list of new signings announced by the Bulls on Monday.
Former Sharks wing, Thaakir Abrahams, returns to South Africa from Munster on a two-year contract, while Leicester Tigers loose forward, Hanro Liebenberg, also heads back to Pretoria on a three-year deal.
Nineteen-year-old, Luan Giliomee, has also signed a three-year contract with the Bulls. The Junior Bok made his United Rugby Championship (URC) debut for the Sharks at fullback earlier this season.
Giliomee is joined by Sharks teammates, fullback Hakeem Kunene and tighthead prop Mawande Mdanda.
The Bulls have also secured the services of Griquas wing Dylan Maart and Pumas outside centre Sango Xamlashe.
“We have been very deliberate in our recruitment process, identifying specific areas where we felt we needed to bolster our depth and experience,” said Bulls CEO Edgar Rathbone.
“Bringing in players of this calibre, ranging from proven match-winners to the most exciting young talent in the country, is a clear statement of our intent. We are building a squad capable of sustained success in both the URC and Europe, and we are thrilled to welcome these men to the Loftus family.”
Happy Monday 🐂
