Jay-Z dismisses rape claims as idiotic

American rapper, Shawn ‘Jay-Z’ Carter, has rejected the rape allegations levelled against him as idiotic.

Jay-Z is accused of raping a 13-year-old girl alongside Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, who is currently behind bars for alleged sex crimes, at the after party of the MTV Video Music Awards in 2000.

It is alleged that the young girl was lured by Diddy’s driver, who suggested to her that the music star had an interest in younger girls and was later forced to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).

In a fiery statement released on social median following the damning claims, Jay-Z accuses Texas lawyer, Tony Buzbee, of trying to get some coin from him.

He says his lawyer received a blackmail attempt from Buzbee.

“This lawyer, on whom I have done a bit of research, seems to have a pattern of these types of theatrics.”

Jay-Z’s woes come as the world reels from Diddy’s fall, which has left many wondering who might have operated with the Hip Hop star in his alleged crimes, which include sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution.

Many have speculated that many other big names will also be dragged along with Diddy as his case unfolds. More than 100 people represented by Buzbee have laid charges against Diddy accusing him of sexual assault, rape and sexual exploitation dating back more than 20 years.

Buzbee alleges that some of them are minors who were abused when they were as young as nine years old.

His trial is scheduled for May 5.
