Nzimande claims courts are being used to curtail his executive powers

Higher Education Minister, Blade Nzimande, has lambasted how the courts are being used to diminish his executive authority as provided by the Higher Education Act. The Minister was expected to make a pronouncement on whether Unisa will be placed under administration on Friday. He, however, cancelled that briefing after the high court in Pretoria ordered that he withdraw the notice. Saftu slams Reserve Bank governor’s interest rates remarks as irresponsible

Saftu's Trevor Shaku has slammed, as irresponsible, the Reserve Bank Governor, Lesetja Kganyago's assertions that interest rates don't affect the poor.
