The Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg will host the 2027 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup final.
The Wanderers, affectionaly known as the Bullring, is South Africa’s largest ground with a capacity of over 30,000.
The Johannesburg venue has been preferred over Cape Town’s iconic Newlands, renowned for its backdrop against Table Mountain.
Newlands will instead host the opening group-stage match between India and defending champions Australia on 7 October.
The Namibia Cricket Ground in Windhoek will stage the Super Series, while Newlands will also host the first semi-final on 17 November. The second semi-final is scheduled for SuperSport Park in Centurion on 18 November.
Zimbabwe, one of the co-hosts, will stage five group-stage matches, with the national side playing all of its group games at home.
The World Cup will run from 2 October to 21 November 2027, with 14 teams playing 57 matches across 12 venues in the three host countries.
Three incredible venues will play host to the #CWC27 semi-finals and final 🏟️
