Venues for 2027 Cricket World Cup revealed

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the 12 venues across South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia that will host the 2027 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup.

Eight venues across South Africa, three in Zimbabwe and one in Namibia’s capital, Windhoek, will host matches during the tournament.

The 50-over competition returns to Africa after 24 years. In 2003, South Africa, Zimbabwe and Kenya hosted the eighth edition of the Men’s Cricket World Cup.

Set to host the world’s top 14 teams, the three host countries are united by under the “Three Nations, One Heartbeat” brand, celebrating a spirit of optimism, diversity and community.

The 14th edition of the showpiece event is set to host the cricketing community from across the world, embracing the African philosophy of ‘Ubuntu’, which translates to “I am, because we are”, and reflects the belief that humanity is defined by compassion, kindness and connection to one another.
