Tyla clears the air on Rihanna ‘bad blood’ rumours

South African music sensation, Tyla, has broken her silence over claims that she’s beefing with music icon Rihanna following what appeared to be a “cold” interaction at the recent Met Gala.

In a clip that has since gone viral, Tyla can be seen standing a few feet from Rihanna, which sparked speculation online that the singer may have been ignored.

Fans took to social media to question whether there is a beef between the two artists, with some users dismissing the claims, saying Rihanna is known for her “Bad Girl Riri” persona.

Tyla, who has previously expressed admiration for Rihanna, later took to TikTok to explain that she did not approach the “Umbrella” hitmaker this time following a previous interaction she described as less than welcoming.

“ So I met her last year and she was cool. You know, I met her, but I think she was occupied ’cause she was like… I went up to her, I was like, “Oh, hey,” you know. And she was like, “Hey, um, my baby daddy’s calling me,” and then she left.”
