Timbaland sparks debate with new AI-generated artist TaTa

Social media is divided over American record producer Timbaland’s new song featuring his AI-generated artist, TaTa.

While some praise him as a trailblazer embracing future music tech, others accuse him of trying to erase the role of real human artists.

The Grammy-winning producer, who has been a vocal advocate for the use of artificial intelligence in music, dropped the track Glitch x Pulse this week.

Earlier this year, the 53-year-old co-founded a new AI-focused entertainment company called Stage Zero.

Timbaland has become one of the music industry’s strongest advocates for Artificial Intelligence (AI).

He says what used to take months to create now takes two days, praising its convenience.
