South Africans have been heaping TV and radio presenter, Dan Corder, with praise for setting the record straight on the alleged white genocide that Donald Trump has been raising hell about in recent weeks.

Corder was part of a panel on Piers Morgan’s YouTube show, which included former Solidarity head of policy, Ernst Roets, podcaster Gareth Cliff and journalist Sophie Mokoena.

The digital content creator took a swipe at Roets, who was asked to elaborate on his claims of 142 race laws against whites in the country.

Addressing Roets, the broadcaster said he has taken time to read the laws and broke down 25 of them on his show.

“Here’s what actually the vast majority of the laws say. They say there needs to be meaningful representation in South Africa to reflect our country fairly on three things, not just one, race, gender, and disability, but these grifters will say that they’re race laws.”

Roets is part of the group of Afrikaners that has been accused of spreading misinformation about SA.

Lobby groups, Solidarity and AfriForum, have also played a role in peddling the claims that Afrikaners are being targeted and their land taken.

Their gripe is mainly over the signing into law the Expropriation Act as well as the BELA Act, describing the move as a way to eliminate the Afrikaner race.

The ‘Kill the Boer’ song debate also resurfaced during the discussion with Mokoena explaining that the chant has historical context and is not a call to action.

The veteran journalist says South Africa’s main concern is the high crime rate that has citizens living in fear.

The panel debate follows President Cyril Ramaphosa’s recent visit to the White House where US President, Donald Trump, repeated claims that white farmers are victims of systematic killings.

Morgan also spoke to the father of former Paralympian, Oscar Pistorius, who also supported claims of a ‘white genocide’ in South Africa.

Henke Pistorius says law enforcement have failed numerous times in protecting white farmers.

He also dismissed the South African Police Service’s (SAPS) crime stats as nothing but fabricated lies to hide the truth of what is happening in the country.

During the interview, Pistorius also touched on his son being forced to accept that he is guilty of murdering his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp.

Oscar Pistorius was convicted for the 2013 murder and was released on parole in January last year.

The former athlete is now keeping a low profile alongside his rumoured new girlfriend allegedly at his uncle’s multi-million rand home in Pretoria.

Speaking on the show Henke Pistorius said he hardly speaks to his son as he cannot accept that he is a killer.

However some social media users disagree with Corder’s sentiments.
