A South African dating show has raised eyebrows on social media, raising the ire of many.
While the “Sugar Mamas” reality show has been on air since last year, the KZN instalment is the one that has some South Africans hot under the collar.
In the eye of the storm is a 42-year-old mother of three who is dating a 19-year-old man.
This is sick..
What on earth would a 42 year old mother of 3 have in common with a 19 year old BOY???I

The show delves into the unconventional relationships of older women and their young partners – showing viewers how they navigate life together.
While others say it depicts the reality of our society, other social media users are perplexed at how such a show was commissioned.
We can get hold politicians , business acountable for whole lot of things, but one sector we fail to hold accountable for bad influence in our societies its entertainment. I mean as producers of the show how do you approve airing of a relationship of 19 years…

They believe it’s glamourising sexual grooming and are calling for the arrest of some of the cast members.
That sugar mamas show on Mojalove is disgusting. Those women are predators, idc idc.

Some users are now accusing the channel of using such content to increase ratings.
Fair point, but what do we say about blacks who keep on supporting Moja Love and Naspers it means they enjoy this content. Moja Love once had a show that showed us black entrepreneurs yet Uyajola is more popular than that show

I think Moja love needs to be cancelled cause this can’t be it for black people😳

Moja Love continues taking things too far. 💔💔

Why is moja love still operating? All their shows promote homophobia, violence specifically GBV, moral decay and degeneracy

Others pointed out the double standards in how relationships between older men who date younger people and their female peers who do the same are viewed by society.
When a 26-year-old woman date a 65-year-old grandfather it fine pic.twitter.com/x0SWqW95BU

Now make the ages vice versa and see the out rage. This is why I never attack men because we have double standards.

But Zodwa did the same and nothing happened
