EFF leader, Julius Malema, has been receiving flak on social media over publicly correcting the party’s national spokesperson, Leigh-Ann Mathys, during a Q&A session with journalists.
While some have criticised the politician saying there are better ways to reprimand a colleague, others say there’s nothing new as this is what is experienced in the corporate world, daily.
Some EFF supporters defended the leader, saying he doesn’t compromise when it comes to professionalism.
Malema is no stranger to the headlines, with his candid responses always taking centre stage.
While some took to social media to label the EFF leader’s actions as abusive, it also sparked debate over how people are treated behind big glass doors.
“Maybe they should start by intervening and against how private companies treat us first before going for political parties,” one X user wrote.
🔴Couldn’t he have called her closer to privately correct her😳😳😳

The EFF has been going through a rough time recently, with prominent leaders exiting the organisation.
Floyd Shivambu’s departure left many jaws on the floor and some South Africans believe that his exit opened the door for many others to follow suit.
So far, Mzwanele Manyi, Busiswe Mkhwebane and Dali Mpofu are among members of the red berets who left the party to join former president Jacob Zuma’s MK Party.
