Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, says the rapper-turned-music mogul will fight to get out of jail till he doesn’t have to fight anymore.

He says his client is innocent and is not moved by the charges levelled against him.

“He’s been looking forward to this day and clearing his name. We believe in him wholeheartedly; he didn’t do these things,” adds Agnifilo.

Diddy was denied bail yesterday following his arrest in Manhattan, New York, on Monday.

He has pleaded not guilty to sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution.

In a 14-page indictment, the US rapper is accused of threatening, abusing and forcing victims to fulfill his sexual desires, protect his reputation and conceal his conduct since at least 2008 to date.

US Attorney, Damian Williams, says Combs allegedly planned and controlled sex performances, which he called ‘freak-offs’ and recorded footage of the acts.

“The ‘freak offs’ sometimes lasted days, involved multiple sex workers and often involved a variety of narcotics, which he distributed to victims, to keep them obedient and compliant.”

The US Attorney claims that when Combs didn’t get his way, he became violent, and subjected victims to physical, emotional and verbal abuse to bend their will.

“He kicked, threw objects at and dragged victims at times by their hair.”

Comedian, Eddie Griffin, says Diddy’s arrest is a ploy to eliminate his evidence against powerful people.

He alleges that the so-called powerful figures have contact in high places and are using the arrest to save themselves from being implicated.

Meanwhile, Breakfast Club host, Charlamagne, has echoed the views of many that Diddy won’t go down alone.

He says more people will be arrested in the process, especially because Diddy has footage of the alleged incidents.

Diddy’s arrest is described by many as having lifted the lid on the misconduct that allegedly unfolds within the cut-throat entertainment industry in the US, which has seen A-class entertainers facing sexual abuse claims over the years, with Bill Cosby and Harvey Weinstein among those implicated.

Nobody said anything for years. How and why?
