Janet Jackson’s fans are devastated to learn that the star will not be coming to South Africa, following the death of her brother, Tito Jackson.

Jackson was one of the headliners at this year’s DStv Delicious Festival and was meant to perform this coming Saturday.

However, nature dealt her and her fans a blow after her brother, Tito, passed away on Sunday.

Tito was one of the Jackson brothers who made up the beloved pop group, The Jackson 5.

He was one of the nine Jackson children, who include legendary artists, Michael Jackson and sister Janet.

The 58-year-old was on tour, with South Africa being one of the stops, when tragedy struck.

DStv Delicious Festival is set to take place at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit, in Sandton, Johannesburg.

The organisers of the event have acknowledged Tito Jackson’s death and extended their condolences to the Jackson family.

World-renowned singers, Jill Scott and Thandiswa Mazwai, however, remain on the lineup of the two-day festival.

South Africans have taken to X, expressing their sadness over Jackson bailing out.
