They say any threats or disorder will be dealt with decisively within the ambit of the law.
All eyes are on the National Assembly today, where the President will deliver his Opening of Parliament address as the 7th administration settles into office.

The National Joint Operational and Intelligence Structure (NatJoints) has warned members of the public against committing any illegal acts.
Authorities say law enforcement agencies will not hesitate to act against anyone who unlawfully conducts themselves.
Tonight’s Opening of Parliament may become a headache for some Cape Town motorists – with several roadblocks, vehicle checkpoints and increased police visibility already taking shape.
Minister of Police Senzo Mchunu says this event is not just a ceremonial occasion but a pivotal moment that underscores the nation’s democratic principles.
He says Natjoints plays a fundamental role in ensuring the country is safe, particularly during prestigious events of this nature.
“Our role is to ensure the safety and security of this event. Eyes of this nation and that of the world will be upon us, we must demonstrate the high standards of professionalism, integrity and diligence.”

However, it remains to be seen whether Zuma will attend after his foundation called on the presidency to tighten security after former US president Donald Trump’s attempted assassination.
The Foundation has been mulling over the failed assassination attempt of Prez Trump.
Evil plans to do the same to Prez Zuma can not be ruled out.
