Kolisi given green light for second All Blacks Test

Springbok captain, Siya Kolisi, has passed his fitness test and will wear the number six jersey on Saturday when the world champions face the All Blacks in Cape Town in the second match of the Rugby’s Greatest Rivalry series.

Kolisi will also reclaim the captaincy from fellow loose forward, Pieter-Steph du Toit, who earn his 100th Test cap.

Kolisi missed last weekend’s first test at Ellis Park after sustaining a hamstring injury against Argentina in Buenos Aires earlier this month.

His return sees Paul de Villiers drop out of the match-day 23, with Cameron Hanekom the preferred loose forward amongst the replacements.

The All Blacks lead the four-match series one-nil after their 33-16 victory over the Springboks in Johannesburg.
