South Africans celebrate multi-talented Dr’s historic win

Congratulatory messages are still pouring in for South African TV presenter and medical doctor, Fezile Mkhize, who won the prestigious title of Mister Supranational 2024.

Mkhize is the first black man to win the men’s edition of the competition.

The 8th edition of the Mister Supranational pageant was held in Nowy Sącz, Lesser, Poland, last night.

Mkhize beat 35 contestants from across the globe to clinch the coveted title.

Casey De Vries from the Netherlands is the first runner-up, followed by the Philippines’ Brandon Espiritu. Venezuela’s Marcos De Freitas took the fourth place.

The Mister Supranational Organisation says the 27-year-old TV presenter will be its new brand ambassador for the next year.

South Africa is the second country to achieve victories in both the Miss and Mister Supranational pageants. Lalela Mswane won the women’s edition in 2022.

South Africans on social media are ecstatic, saying he’s made them proud.
