Actor and comedian, Jamie Foxx says his health issues emanated from him having a bad headache.

Foxx was hospitalised in April last year after he reportedly suffered a medical complication.

In a video that has been shared widely on social media, Foxx can be seen speaking to a group of people in downtown Phoenix.

The ‘Django: Unchained’ actor says he had asked a friend for an Advil (headache tablet) and ended up waking up in hospital 20 days later.

He says he had no recollection of what had happened during that time and how he got sick.

The incident happened when Foxx was filming the Netflix action comedy “Back in Action” in Atlanta.

His daughter Corinne Foxx, a day later announced on social media, that her father had been hospitalised.

While he has never disclosed specific details about the emergency, Foxx took to social media last summer to tell his fans what he went through and how he was doing.

The 56-year-old actor also revealed that he was left unable to walk and as he battled to survive, he said he ‘saw the tunnel but not the light’.

According to reports, Foxx could not ‘walk’ for about six months.

Foxx has yet to disclose the medical condition he suffered.

He has since returned to work, on both his music show that he hosts with his 30 year old daughter, Beat Shazam and resumed filming Back in Action in January.

The 56 year old plays Matt alongside Cameron Diaz as Emily in the Netflix film, where they play retired CIA spies who put that life away to start their family.

The movie is set to be released on November 15 this year.

Foxx also revealed in April, that he plans on revealing the details about his health scare in an upcoming comedy special.

Social media has been abuzz to hear what actually happened to him.
