COVID-19: Gauteng records second highest deaths

Gauteng has recorded 767 coronavirus-related fatalities, as of Wednesday, 15 July 2020. This means the province, which is already the epicentre of COVID-19, has the second highest number of deaths, after the Western Cape which has recorded 2,467 fatalities. COVID-19: Gauteng surpasses 100,000 cases

Gauteng has become the first province to record 100,000 cases of COVID-19 in the country. This comes after 5,282 new cases of the disease were reported in the province in a single day.
