Ramaphosa announces national lockdown

In a first in Democratic South Africa, President Cyril Ramaphosa on Monday announced that government would implement a national lockdown for 21 days from Midnight 23:59pm on Thursday.   The lockdown follows the announcement of more than 400 confirmed cases of Covid-19 in the country.
