American music mogul, Sean “Diddy” Combs, has reportedly been hospitalised after suffering a head injury while in prison in New Jersey, United States.

The 56-year-old was reportedly taken by ambulance from the Federal Correctional Institution Fort Dix to a nearby hospital.

His injury has however been described as non-life-threatening, while his lawyers say they are working to establish what happened.

Combs is currently serving a 50-month sentence after being convicted in July 2025 on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. He was acquitted of the more serious charges of sex trafficking and racketeering.
The artist was sentenced in October 2025, following a seven-week long trial which heard grueling testimony from several witnesses, including Combs’ former partner, R&B singer Cassie Ventura.
Combs and Ventura met when she was 19 and he was 37, before he signed her to his record label, Bad Boy Records label.
Ventura told the court that Combs coerced her into participating in what she described as marathon “freak off” parties. She also testified that she endured abuse during their 11-year relationship.
She further testified that she became dependent on drugs during the relationship, using them to numb her pain during encounters with male escorts, which Combs allegedly filmed.
The 56-year-old is expected to be released from prison in March 2028.
