Orlando Pirates coach, Abdeslam Ouaddou, has provided an update on the readiness of Bafana Bafana international, Mohau Nkota, who recently returned to the club on loan.
The 21-year-old winger was officially unveiled by Pirates last week after sealing a season-long loan return from Saudi club, Al-Ettifaq.
However, on Friday, Ouaddou confirmed that Nkota arrived with a knee injury sustained at his previous team, delaying his return to action.
“Nkota is still with the doctors… receiving treatment,” Ouaddou told journalists during his pre-match press conference.
“I think he had an injury as well at his previous club, but I hope to have him back in about three or four weeks.”
The Soweto giants next turn their focus to Mauritian side, La Cure Waves, in a crucial CAF Champions League preliminary round second leg.
The match will kick off at 15:00 on Saturday at the Orlando Amstel Arena.
