Ramoreboli joins Mosimane’s Bafana technical team

Morena Ramoreboli has been announced as the assistant coach in Pitso Mosimane’s new Bafana Bafana technical team.

SAFA and the Botswana Football Association confirmed on Tuesday that Ramoreboli will leave his position with The Zebras to join Mosimane’s technical team ahead of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

When Mosimane was unveiled as Bafana coach last week, he confirmed long-time lieutenants, Kabelo Rangoaga and Musi Matlaba, as members of his technical team but revealed that another assistant coach was still to be appointed.

That position has now gone to Ramoreboli.

Ramoreboli becomes the latest addition to the structure, bringing senior international experience from his spell in charge of Botswana.

The 46-year-old has also previously worked at club level in South Africa and on the continent, giving Mosimane an assistant with experience beyond the domestic game.

“We are delighted to welcome Morena Ramoreboli back into the Bafana Bafana environment. He has earned this opportunity through his achievements and his consistent growth as a coach over many years,” SAFA president Danny Jordaan said.
