Sharks head coach, JP Pietersen, has named Junior Springbok star, Zekhethelo Siyaya, at fullback for this weekend’s United Rugby Championship (URC) clash against Ospreys in Wales.

The Durban side take on the Welsh side in Swansea on Saturday (kick-off 20.45), aiming to move up from 10th place on the URC table despite battling an injury crisis.

Captain, André Esterhuizen, returns to lead the team, while Pietersen has shown confidence in handing the talented Siyaya his first start at fullback.

There are also key returns in the pack, with locks Jason Jenkins and Emile van Heerden back in the starting lineup.

The experienced front row of Vincent Koch, Eduan Swart and Ox Nché shifts to the bench, with Phatu Ganyane, Fez Mbatha and Hanro Jacobs starting in their place.

A new-look loose trio sees Phepsi Buthelezi and brothers Vincent and Manu Tshituka start, with Nick Hatton providing cover from the bench.

Jaden Hendrikse comes in at scrumhalf, replacing Ross Braude, while Jean Smith retains the flyhalf position.

Esterhuizen returns at inside centre while Ethan hooker moves from the bench to start at wing.

Jurenzo Julius also returns from injury, providing cover for both wing and centre.
