Social media users have slammed Sean “Diddy” Combs’ mother, Janice Combs, for once again defending her son following the release of the new Netflix docuseries Sean Combs: The Reckoning.

Janice dismissed the allegations made in the documentary as “inaccurate and patently false,” saying the series misrepresented her and spread lies about her relationship with her son.

She directly addressed claims made by Diddy’s former friend and colleague, Kirk Burrowes, who alleged he once saw Diddy slap her — calling the allegations “intentionally misleading.”

The docuseries was produced by rapper Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, who has long used social media to criticise and mock Diddy.

The docuseries comes in the wake of Diddy’s federal convictions on two prostitution-related charges, for which he is currently serving a 50-month prison sentence. He also continues to face multiple sexual-assault lawsuits.

The series also features footage filmed in the days leading up to his arrest, including a phone call with his attorney.

It further revisits long-standing — and unproven — claims suggesting Diddy may have been linked to the 1996 murder of rapper Tupac Shakur. These allegations have never been substantiated.

The disgraced music mogul was convicted in July, has faced a string of civil and criminal investigations in recent years, and remains at the centre of ongoing legal scrutiny.

The docuseries has dominated social media discussions, with many reacting to its explosive revelations. Others, however, have accused Janice of protecting her son and disregarding the claims of his alleged victims.

Sean Diddy Combs stood no chance. #diddydocumentarynetflix revealed layers of the creations of demons and narcissist. It all starts from the childhood. This is why I speak on women going through a healing journey. Women instil toxic masculinity in little boys. And we must talk about our hand in patriarchy. #diddy #fyppp #50cent #netflix
