Terms and Conditions
Below are the standard terms and conditions applicable to the Motorola South Africa competition on-air and digital promotion in association with YFM.
1. The Motorola competition runs on YFM 25th August until the 26th September 2025
2. Promos will flight on air for the duration of the campaign period and will encourage listeners to encourage listeners to go through a Pep, Incredible Connection or Ackermans store, take selfie a selfie with Motorola and post the image on the socials for a chance to win the a brand new Motorola handset.
3. Valid entries will need to include the Motorola brand image or handset in the image, include the campaign hashtag #AreYouIn, tag @MotorolaAfrica and tag @YFM
4. Competition producers will randomly select an entry every Friday from the valid entries, and the winner will be announced live on-air during the Breakfast Show (The Way Up with Nia Brown and Okay Wasabi)
5. No person may enter the same or any other competition hosted partly or in whole by YFM within 60 days of winning the same or any other competition hosted partly or in whole by YFM.
6. The station’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
7. No director of Yired (Pty) Ltd, employee at YFM and/or their agencies, and members of their immediate family; nor members of Motorola enter this competition on YFM.
8. Prizes are not transferable and are not negotiable.
9. Any violation or attempt to violate any of the above rules will result in the immediate disqualification of the transgressor.
10. Entrants below the age of 18 (eighteen) should obtain their parents’ or guardian’s consent before entering the competition.
11. By participating in any competition hosted partly or in whole by YFM, where entry is on-line, participants further agree to be bound by our Internet Terms & Conditions.
12. YFM will ensure that they obtain the winner’s consent in order to give Motorola the winner’s personal information.
13. Motorola and YFM is not liable for any loss or damages that may occur as a result of entering or participating in the competition.
