More than 3 500 people have signed the petition, calling on the mayor of Bratislava to remove West from the lineup for his alleged harmful ideologies after he has publicly declared his admiration for Nazi leader, Adolf Hitler.
The petition comes after the organisers of the event revealed on earlier this week that they’re excited to host West at the event.
Earlier this year, the rapper shocked fans after making anti-Semitic comments sharing about his love for Hitler and defending jailed music mogul, Sean “Diddy” Combs.

Last month, the 24-time Grammy Award winner released a song glorifying the Nazi leader, called “Heil Hitler,” on multiple streaming platforms.
The song’s release coincided with the 80th anniversary of the defeat of Nazi Germany in World War II.
The song, which is endorsed by Peace for Ukraine and Cities for Democracy, says having the 48-year-old included to the popular festival is an insult to the country’s historic memory.
Earlier this year, the hip-hop artist even sold swastika T-shirts in his online shop.
Bratislava’s history with Hitler is still a painful one for many of its citizens, particularly due to the city’s role in the Holocaust.
