SASCOC President, Barry Hendricks, says Netball South Africa President, Cecilia Molokwane, has a case to answer to World Netball and will face a disciplinary hearing in the coming weeks.
Molokwane was suspended last last month by the international federation on what it deems to be “serious allegations”, with the federation insisting that she take no part in the sport until the investigation and disciplinary process is completed.
Speaking to the media on Thursday afternoon, Hendricks said he did not know what the charges against the flamboyant administrator are.
“World Netball came back to us recently to say that there was a case to answer and they’re now busy with the disciplinary hearing,”
The world governing body had indicated to him that the process should be completed in 6 weeks, around mid-July. Written by Ntsako Mkhari
