MacG is bigger than DSTV: Chillers

Fans of Macgyver ‘MacG’ Mukwevho’s Podcast and Chill have threatened to cancel their DSTV subscription after the direct broadcast satellite service canned his podcast.

Season one of the famous podcast was short-lived after MacG stirred some controversy over his thoughts on Minnie Dlamini’s hygiene.

He suggested that the media personality “can’t keep a man” possibly due to hygiene issues.

MacG later apologised after receiving sustained backlash.

Minnie rejected the apology, saying the podcaster only extended it after realising the potential damage the incident could have on his reputation and career.

While the episode of this particular incident did not air on DStv, MultiChoice said it was making way for fresh and exciting content.

MaG’s fans are, however, seemingly unbothered – saying he will outlive the entertainment company.
