Musa Khawula slapped with fresh charges

Controversial celebrity blogger, Musa Khawula, has been charged with attempted murder and an alternative charge of reckless driving in the Fochville Magistrates Court in Johannesburg.

Khawula appeared before the court earlier today, just a mere two days after he appeared in the Randburg Magistrate’s Court for allegedly violating the Cybercrimes Act.

After a long delay, Khawula appeared before the court in a white shirt, grey pants and his infamous unkempt hair.

It is alleged that he was seen naked on his lower body next to his vehicle, which was stationed on the complainant’s property. When the complainant and his wife approached Khawula to inform him that he’s trespassing, they saw another half-naked man moving from the back of the vehicle to the front.

The two then drove off and hit a dead end and had to U-turn. They then allegedly bumped into the complainant, leaving him on the scene.

A further charge of failure to render assistance and/or report an accident to the police was also preferred against the accused.

The matter has been remanded until the 4th of next month for a formal bail application. Written by Ntsako Mkhari
