What is Parliament without Dr Mbuyiseni Ndlozi? – is a question asked by many who were dismayed by the announcement of his resignation from the National Legislature.

The EFF earlier announced that Ndlozi and Yazini Tetyana resigned as Members of Parliament, voluntarily.

The party has wished the pair well, saying they served the organisation diligently in their respective deployments.

The news about Ndlozi’s departure from Parliament comes amid rife speculation regarding his standing in the organisation after his absence at the party’s elective conference in December.

A move that raised the ire of many young people who believed that Ndlozi would have occupied the position of Deputy President following the departure of Floyd Shivambu.

Some social media users have commended Ndlozi on his decision, saying he had endured too much disrespect from his leader.

Many believe that it was only a matter of time, raising the question of where Ndlozi is going from here.

Some are worried about the EFF’s future as it bleeds some of its top minds.

Ndlozi has been a pivotal figure in the organisation since its formation in 2013.

He was at the forefront of rallying young people during the party’s formative years and quickly made a name for himself as ‘The People’s Bae’.

Ndlozi, the party’s first national spokesperson, has been silent since Shivambu’s departure, a move that seems to have offended his leader.

Speaking very strongly at the National People’s Assembly at Nasrec, Malema refused to field questions concerning Ndlozi.

He warned journalists against reducing the party to an individual.

“I’m not responsible for Mbuyiseni Ndlozi, 90% of the people expected to be here are here, that’s what matters. Whoever that is not here was not supposed to be here from the beginning, ” said Malema.

The ANCYL president, Collen Malatjie, isn’t fazed by Ndlozi’s departure from Parliament.

Speaking at the president’s annual golf day, Malatjie told reporters that he’s been telling the EFF to close shop and return to the ANC.

Here are some of Ndlozi’s parliament moments:
