There have been mixed reactions on social media after rapper Jay-Z made a red-carpet appearance alongside wife, Beyonce, and their daughter, Blue Ivy Carter at the premiere of the much-anticipated, ‘Mufasa: The Lion King’, movie.
The billionaire showed his face in public a day after he was accused of raping a 13-year-old girl, 14 years ago.
It is alleged that Shawn Corey Carter, popularly known as Jay-Z, and Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs raped the teenager at the MTV Video Music Awards after-party in 2000.
The accusations came on the day of the LA premiere of the movie in which his daughter voices the role of Simba and Nala’s daughter, Kiara, while Beyonce returns to voice the role of Nala.
The music mogul has, nonetheless, vehemently denied the rape claims, allegations, dismissing them as heinous.
Jay-Z has also now asked for the identity of the alleged victim to be revealed, or for the case to be dismissed.
His accuser claims that she was dropped off at the VMAs at Radio City Music Hall by a friend and she did not have a ticket.
After approaching various limousine drivers to try to gain access to the show or after party, she met one driver who allegedly told her that he worked for Combs.
He then allegedly picked her up and dropped her off at a house where she was made to sign a document, which she believed was a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).
She alleges that she was offered a drink that made her feel woozy before, both P Diddy and Jay-Z entered the room, after which Carter allegedly removed her clothes, held her down and raped her while Combs and an unnamed female celebrity watched.
She says Combs also raped her as Carter and the woman watched.

Beyoncé is such a loving mother, Blue Ivy is so well-spoken, and Rumi is adorable! Seeing them all together makes me smile! You can tell she’s at the stage where everything her mom says is embarrassing, which is cute! I’m so proud of Blue Ivy for voicing Kiara in Mufasa: The Lion…

Just watched this and I really just can’t believe how grown little baby Blue Ivy is now. She’s so articulate and you can tell she’s taken after her mom when it comes to work ethic. https://t.co/UYr7MVWMEQ

It appears that way due to the timing of the negative press and lawsuit went public, but this premiere was scheduled months ahead of time. So, they all were coming regardless; Beyoncé and Blue Ivy was the voice overs for the movie. 🍿

Why is everybody putting so much energy into Blue Ivy? You all know her parents are evil, satanic monsters. Why are acting shocked? People are stupid af.

A 12-yo nepo baby, Blue Ivy attended this movie premiere b/c she voiced one of the characters.
New charges were filed against Mr Z a day or two before this premiere. https://t.co/beqnT7VSn4
