Controversial music executive, Nhlamulo Baloyi, better known as Nota, is set to spend the festive season from the comfort of his home.
Baloyi was released earlier this week after spending less than 20 days behind bars.
The 34-year-old officially hinted at his release in two social media posts, one of which he was asking about where he will spend thanksgiving.
Baloyi, who was arrested last month while appearing for his rape case at the Randburg Magistrates Court, will spend the remainder of his 60-day sentence under strict correctional supervision.
He was given directed imprisonment for contempt of court in a matter involving rapper, Ntokozo Mdluli, popularly known as K.O.
K.O had interdicted him from uttering statements that implicated him in AKA’s murder.
The podcaster’s rape case will return to court on the 28th of January.
Some social media users have celebrated his release.
