Social media is still in a frenzy over a sex scandal involving a high-ranking Equatorial Guinea civil servant after more than 400 tapes of his escapades made it online.

The Head of that country’s National Financial Investigation Agency, Baltasar Ebang Engonga, slept with wives of his relatives, colleagues, and religious leaders, among others.

The 54-year-old politician came into the spotlight after videos of his bedroom shenanigans were leaked.

It is understood that authorities stumbled on the tapes during a corruption investigation.

The recordings, reportedly consensual, feature his brother’s wife, a cousin, and even the President’s sister, amongst others.

The scandal has gripped the world, leading to the country’s Vice-President Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue, ordering the immediate suspension of all public servants, who have had sexual relations in the offices of their respective ministries.

Vice President, Teodoro Mangue, has slammed Engonga’s conduct as a violation of the Code of Conduct and the law.

Mangue said any officials found engaging in sex acts at work would be suspended with immediate effect and will face severe measures.

Government says it has decided to take this action because the videos have brought shame to the country’s image, especially since this could affect many families.

The man in the eye of the storm is a married father of six children.

The country’s government has reportedly now installed surveillance cameras in all government offices, and restricted pornographic videos on social media – saying it cannot continue to see families break up due to this sex scandal.

It is also reported that the 54-year-old politician could also be charged with an offence against public health if he is found to have an STD following his escapades.

One of his sexual partners allegedly committed suicide after a video of their steamy session went viral.

Social media users have been debating over the issue with some South Africans saying Engonga should be invited to the Men’s conference.
