‘Bennifer’ fans torn by couple’s divorce

The news of Hollywood stars Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s divorce, on their wedding anniversary, has left many millennials divided on social media.

After months of the rumor mill going on about their break-up, 55-year-old Lopez finally filed for divorce yesterday.

The couple, affectionately known as ‘Bennifer’ are divorcing after two years of marriage.

Lopez and Affleck began their love journey in 2003 and planned to get married the following year, however, they decided to call off their relationship.

JLo went on to marry and have children with four-time Grammy Award and eight-time Latin Grammy Award winner,

Marc Anthony.

Affleck married and shares three children with Golden Globe winning actress Jennifer Garner.

18 years later the pair rekindled their relationship and got married in Las Vegas in July 2022.

Some fans have flooded social media with reactions to the news of their separation, with many raising concern over this being JLo’s 4th failed marriage.

Others expressed their optimism in the pair picking things up again, as they recently did after almost two decades.
