The horrific accident in Limpopo that nearly claimed the life popular rapper Lehlogonolo Chauke, known as Shebeshxt, has reignited talks on safe driving.

The 27-year-old musician, who is known for living on the fast lane, tragically lost his 9-year-old daughter, and his foot, after the car he was driving collided with a truck and overturned at the weekend.

It is believed that Chauke, his girlfriend, and daughter were on the way to his performance at an ANC Siyanqoba Rally celebration concert in Lebowakgomo.

While the circumstances surrounding the accident are still sketchy, a video depicting the musician driving at over 130km per hour on that fateful night has gone viral on social media.

Some users have gone as far as calling him reckless, as he is seen driving without a seatbelt and his daughter sitting in the front seat, with a safety belt on.

WARNING: Some people might find the contents of the video below disturbing.

The Limpopo Department of Transport could not confirm the details of Chauke’s accident, with spokesperson Tidimalo Chuene saying investigating into the crash are ongoing.

This is the second deadly accident that the Ke Di Shxt Malume hitmaker has been involved in this year.
While no one died in the January accident, Chauke’s car was written off.
Condolences and messages of support meanwhile continue to pour in for Shebeshxt following the passing of his daughter.
