Murder accused TV host, Xolani Khumalo, has slammed Moja Love for distancing itself from his legal battle.
The disgraced former Sizokhuthola TV show host made the remarks outside the Palm Ridge Magistrate Court on Tuesday – at the back of his latest court appearance.
In July, Khumalo got into hot water after a suspected drug dealer died during the filming of the hit reality show.
The TV network gave Khumalo the boot earlier this month following the incident.
Khumalo will now have to hand over all video footage of that day to authorities as investigations into the Robert Varrie’s death continue.
Aside from murder, Khumalo now faces two additional charges of robbery with aggravated circumstances and malicious damage to property.
The court has also issued an order for all members of Khumalo’s TV crew to participate in an Identity Parade. A move that could also land them in trouble with the law.
But Khumalo says it’s unlikely.
He is set to return to court in February, with his supporters expected to flock to the court to show solidarity. Article by Naomi Kobbie
