Below are the terms and conditions applicable to the Absa Turn Up on-air and digital promotion in association with YFM.

1. The Absa Turn Up competition runs on YFM from the 24th January 2022 up until the 4th Febuary 2022
2. Promos will flight on air for the duration of the campaign period and will encourage listeners to go to the YFM website and tell us what they would like to study and if they are already studying, how is their course going to help them to Turn up their life
3. Each day from the 31st January up until 4th Febuary, station producers will randomly select 1 entry per day which will be taken to air to share what they would like to study, and this lisenter will be awarded R2000, and if they are an Absa account holder, this amount will be doubled. The moment will take place during YMornings Monday to Friday
4. Station will request proof of banking with Absa to qualify the winnings post the on-air moment
5. All winners who are taken to air and are qualified as Absa account holders will go into a draw to win R50 000 towards their studies. This grand draw will take place on the 7th February 2022 during YMornings.
6. No person may enter the same or any other competition hosted partly or in whole by YFM within 60 days of winning the same or any other competition hosted partly or in whole by YFM.
7. The station’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
8. No director of Yired (Pty) Ltd, employee at YFM and/or their agencies, and members of their immediate family; nor members of Absa may enter this competition on YFM.
9. Prizes are not transferable and are not negotiable.
10. Any violation or attempt to violate any of the above rules will result in the immediate disqualification of the transgressor.
11. Entrants below the age of 18 (eighteen) should obtain their parents’ or guardian’s consent before entering the competition.
12. By participating in any competition hosted partly or in whole by YFM, where entry is on-line, participants further agree to be bound by our Internet Terms & Conditions.
13. YFM will ensure that they obtain the winner’s consent in order to give Absa the winner’s personal information.
14. Absa and YFM is not liable for any loss or damages that may occur as a result of entering or participating in the competition.
15. Prize money will be paid to the winners within 15 days of winning.
