The Multitalented Osu Blackrose, Creating A Wave Of Her Own

Osu Blackrose is a 23 year-old singer from the East rand with a passion for music.

Having been a music enthusiast from a very young age, she eventually took her love for music seriously when she decided to study Sound Engineering at Varsity College but unfortunately had to drop out two years in due to financial circumstances.

Osu released her first single titled ‘Soap’ on digital platforms and gained attention from locals. The reception kept growing until she managed to shoot a music video and release it on YouTube. She has not looked back or slowed down ever since and has been making waves on social media through engagements and doing cover songs of her favourite artists. Osu has also made appearances and performed for different shows and events in and around Johannesburg and her hometown, creating relationships and making necessary connections and friends.

Osu has worked on multiple projects with different artists and has shared stages with names such as Ndithini Mbali, Sha Sha, Slique Angel, Mark Khoza, Pearl Afrique and T-Muzik to mention a few.

With skills stretching beyond just being a vocalist and songwriter, Osu is also a producer and composer. She has a YouTube channel where she shares all of her content and performance videos from the years 2017 until now.
