Meet Jack Of All Trades, Wesley Keet

Producer and multi-instrumentalist from Port Elizabeth, Wesley Keet’s fascination with music started at a young age. After picking up a copy of Fruity Loops 3 in high school, he has been making beats ever since. He has worked with national and international artists as a keyboardist, music director, producer and featured artist across genres.

 

Having had sessions as a keyboardist (and vocalist too), playing gigs and festivals in South Africa and abroad, his main influences are Gospel, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Soul and RnB.

 

Wesley finds inspiration from artists such as Bheki Mseleku, Herbie Hancock, Kirk Franklin, Stevie Wonder and John Mayer.

 

He describes his music is an amalgamation of his love for Hip-Hop beats and soulful chords sprinkled with improvisation.
