A versatile songstress from Klerksdorp, Ayanda Jiya always had a burning desire for music and singing from the age of six. With a family that supported her talent, she was nurtured in the comfort of her home to become the musician and exceptional songwriter she is today. Ayanda is influenced by a lot of genres, mostly Gospel, Jazz, Neo Soul and RnB.

She recorded her very first song entitled ‘Rescue Me’ in 2007, from that moment her love for music and becoming better at her craft began to grow even more.
In 2013, she worked on her single titled ‘Happier Alone’ and shot a music video for it as well, this shone the spotlight on her in the industry and among her followers.
Ayanda released an EP in 2014 entitled ‘Very Intimate Conversations’ (V.I.C) which was successfully launched at the State Theatre in Pretoria.
Fast forward to 2019, she released her much anticipated debut album titled ‘AYANDASTAND’ on August 8th. She teamed up with long-time collaborator A-Reece on the album’s first single titled ‘Falling For You’, which was highly successful.
Ayanda has since worked with many artists in the country, featuring on Lady Zamar‘s platinum selling album King Zamar. She also appears on A-Reece‘s second studio album From Me to You And Only You, Stogie T‘s Honey And Pain mixtape, Flame’s CandyMan album, Ralf Gum’s Progression album, Ginger Trill’s Gang Tapes EP and Sir LSg’s Moving Circle album
