Brand South Africa is back in its eighth year of playing their part while keeping safe, even in the midst of the COVID19 pandemic. Play Your Part is inspired by the need to promote active citizenry amongst our future leaders.

The Best Drive caught up with Advocate and Play Your Part’s ambassador, Aurelia Nxumalo.

Aurelia’s passion for helping people stems from believing that she wouldn’t be where is or be who she is if it wasn’t for the help of people. To give back, Nxumalo started running sanitary pad  and feeding drives.

“It’s up to the South African youth to ensure that they actively participate not just with their Twitter fingers but they need to ensure that we have a better South Africa for our children and grandchildren as well as holding those in higher positions and Executives accountable in being more active and caring for South African so we can have a better environment.” says Nxumalo.

Advocate Aurelia Nxumalo continues to share her legal expertise with her latest platform “Learned Friend“ that she and her business partner, Rethabile Seema who is also a fellow Play Your Part ambassador created. They use the platform to pass on legal knowledge and educate South Africans on being responsible digital citizens.

Aurelia explains that, Brand South Africa says; Play Your Part, share your inspiring story and you could win big for your school.  Grade 11 & 12 learners from Stanza Bopape Secondary, Tsako Thabo Secondary, Bokgoni Secondary and Amogelang Secondary School will participate in the online campaign. Selected learners from these schools will also be interviewed on radio to share their inspiring stories. The call to action online campaign encourages learners to post on Facebook, how they have been playing their part during the challenging times of COVID-19. The best story wins a prize worth R50 000.00 for their school!

Let’s continue to promote active citizenry and contribute towards a brighter future for our communities by Playing Your Part.
