Chart-topper Ayanda Jiya to rock the Live N Reyired stage

Chanteuse Ayanda Jiya has reportedly positioned herself as the face of modern, local R&B. A label that her fans clearly agree with.

On dropping her debut album, Ayandastand, it topped iTunes and Google Play charts – and remains there.

The 32-year-old sonstress’ 11-track album features Stogie T on Love 4 Life,
A-Reece on Falling for You and Ziyon on Night Away. Speaking on her album:

“I really wanted to give it a personal feel and introduce myself as Ayanda, and my life experiences. I packaged it in a way that would make it easy to connect to the people who listen to my music. I really believe in connections and that if you give the next person a chance to connect, they can then learn from your experiences as well,” she told Move.

Her first single, The Sun, has become the favourite; along with Trade, Soldier of Love and Worth It – all of which she may perform at Live N Reyired on the 1st of December at Hard Rock Cafe in Nelson Mandela Square.
