Co-host and producer of The Nia Brown Shakedown, Mthaux, is on a quest to find Nia Brown a date for Valentine’s Day, after her cry of being dateless year after year!

Mthaux brought it to the drawing board by having one date a day, with three potential bachelors over lunch at Caramello’s Cafe, Rosebank Mall. After getting to know each of them, he’ll eventually narrow it down to who he thinks would be the perfect suitor amongst the three.

The pursuit started off with the first bachelor, Kabelo “Maliknarvin” Mabena, whose shy demeanour had Mthaux a little concerned but whose striking looks kept him charmed.

Following through with the second date, with Pretoria based rapper and producer , “25K”, a character that Mtho felt fit into Nia’s career space in terms of career similarities, however may not fit with her preferred facets in a partner.

Lastly, and – perhaps – Mtho’s first choice, after a warm and effortless date with Oratile, a 26-year-old Master’s graduate and architect, whose coherent character charmed Mtho and may have made the decision process a little more difficult.
