SA wants Nigeria, Malawi and Ethiopia to reimburse repatriation costs

The South African government has written to Nigeria, Malawi and Ethiopia seeking reimbursement for the repatriation of their nationals over the past month. The Home Affairs department says nearly  R300 million has been spent on the repatriation operations, following anti-illegal immigration protests in the country. Over 40 killed in N1 bus tragedy

President Cyril Ramaphosa has extended his condolences to Zimbabwe and Malawi following the tragic N1 bus crash, that claimed more than 40 lives. The bus, which was travelling from Gqeberha to Harare, reportedly lost control near Makhado in Limpopo and plunged into a ditch yesterday.
