Below are the standard terms and conditions applicable to the Disney “The Shards”  on-air and digital promotion in association with YFM.

  1. The Disney “The Shards” competition runs on YFM from Friday 28th of August until the 19th of September 2026.
  2. Promos will flight on air for the duration of the campaign period and will encourage listeners to:

Send a voice note on the Y App with your theories and thoughts on The Shards for your chance to win exclusive Disney merchandise. Winners will be randomly selected and will be announced on-air during The Way Up on Fridays during the campaign period.

  1. No person may enter the same or any other competition hosted partly or in whole by YFM within 90 days of winning the same or any other competition hosted partly or in whole by YFM.
  2. The station’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  3. No director of Yired (Pty) Ltd, employee at YFM and/or their agencies, and members of their immediate family; nor members of Disney+ employees enter this competition on YFM.
  4. Prizes are not transferable and are not negotiable.
  5. Any violation or attempt to violate any of the above rules will result in the immediate disqualification of the transgressor.
  6. Entrants below the age of 18 (eighteen) should obtain their parents’ or guardian’s consent before entering the competition.
  7. By participating in any competition hosted partly or in whole by YFM, where entry is on-line, participants further agree to be bound by our Terms & Conditions which are available on the YFM website
  8. YFM will ensure that they obtain the winner’s consent in order to give Disney+ the winner’s personal information.
  9. Disney+ and YFM is not liable for any loss or damages that may occur as a result of entering or participating in the competition.
