Transport Minister releases Easter weekend road statistics

Transport Minister Fikile Mbalula has revealed that 28 people died on the roads during the Easter weekend, a significant decrease from 2019 in which 162 fatalities were recorded. Companies must obtain new certificates for lockdown extension

The Department of Trade and Industry has announced that companies which supplied essential goods during the 21 days nationwide lockdown are required to obtain new certificates for the duration of the extended lockdown. Government rejects SAA 10bn request

 Government has denied South African Airways(SAA)  a further R10 billion in funding for the business rescue process.
