Students in and around Johannesburg gathered for a night vigil in honour of slain University of Johannesburg student, Nkosingiphile Nxumalo. The second-year BCOM accounting student was shot and killed in a crossfire in Braamfontein last week. “Woman who murdered child in suitcase was a trusted neighbour,” family says

The family of kidnapped and murdered Soweto toddler, Keeya Mbulawa, say they’re shocked that she was almost taken by someone she regarded as her aunt. Saftu expresses misgivings with minimum wage

Labour federation, Saftu, has reiterated its stance on the National Minimum Wage (NMW), saying while it sets a standard for employers - it not a living pay.
